    Edwardian three bedroom, three bathroom house with a pretty courtyard located in the popular Queens Park area of Brighton. Sleeping seven guests, the house is best suited for families or small groups.

    The neighbourhood

    The house is located in the Queens Park area of Brighton a pleasant short walk to the seafront or City Centre. Queens Park itself, is just around the corner, and is home to tennis courts, large children's playground, beautiful open spaces and large duck pond. Perfect for a summers picnic. The indoor St Lukes swimming pool, is also just a 2 minute walk from the house. The local area has 5 great pubs all within a 10 minute walk to the property (see our recommendations at the bottom of the page)

    Kitchen

    At the back of the house on the ground floor, the bright sunny kitchen houses a gas hob and oven, another oven/microwave, washing machine and fridge freezer.

    Living room

    The large lounge/diner spans the entire width of the house offering plenty of space for entertaining. There is a three seater sofa as well as a plush velvet two seater sofa and two arm chairs. An impressive large geometric style mirror hangs over a period open fireplace.The room benefits from Virgin TV, Netflix, high speed fibre optic broadband and an X-box which can play DVD's.

    Dining area

    The dining area consists of a Victorian mahogany table and chairs expanding to seat seven comfortably.

    Bedroom 1: The Orient Room

    Located on the first floor the Orient Room is home to a double bed with comfortable Hypnos mattress, art deco mirrored single wardrobe and a Victorian oak chest of drawers. The room has a subtle oriental theme, with deep blues and golds.

    Bedroom 2: The Menagerie

    The Menagerie Room, located on the first floor, has a large king size bed and beautiful period mirrored wardrobe and chest of drawers. The 1920's gold palm leaf light pendant, bird cage mirror and animal artwork give a nod to a deco menagerie of the 20's or 30's.

    Bedroom 3: The Beach Room

    This second floor, en suite bedroom spans the width of the house and so is particularly bright and airy with two large velux windows on one side and a large double window on the other. There are two hotel quality zip and link single beds which can be connected to form a luxurious super king bed; please request at time of booking. You will also find a Victorian mahogany chest of drawers and hanging space for clothes. A large wall mounted TV allows for lazy mornings in bed catching up with your favourite shows. The table and chairs provides ample space should you wish to work.

    Bathroom 1

    En-suite to Bedroom 3, The Beach Room, this bathroom has a shower with modern chrome fittings, wash basin, mirror, WC and a heated towel rail.

    Bathroom 2

    First floor family bathroom consists of a WC, sink, mirror, bath with shower.

    Bathroom 3

    Ground floor bathroom, WC, sink, mirror, shower.

    Outside space

    To the rear of the house lies a walled patio with comfy outdoor corner sofa seating six comfortably.

    This property does not accept hen/stag groups or for house parties/organised events taking place within the property. The Deco House is located in a quiet, residential area and so is best suited to family and small group bookings.

    Getting Around

    BUSES: The Pepperpot bus stop (just 1 min walk from The Deco House) allows yout catch buses to the main areas of the city including the train station, Brighton Marina & City Centre (if you don’t wish to walk)

    TAXIS: A typical City Centre / Train Station journey might cost £6-£7

    Brighton Train Station: 20 min walk, 15 min bus (no 18, 21 or 37b), £6/£7 taxi
    Brighton Marina (Cinema, Bowling, Restaurants): 9 mins car, 20 mins bus (no 21)
